SKIING IS EASY? What's that even mean?

HUMBLE BEGINnINGS

It started as a joke on a chairlift — the kind of sarcastic line you drop after tomahawking down a run. “Skiing is easy,” Val said, brushing off snow and laughing. But that joke stuck.

What began as a tongue-in-cheek reminder to not take the sport (or yourself) too seriously turned into a brand built on that same spirit — celebrating the chaos, the wipeouts, and the good times that make skiing what it is.

Jace and Val decided to give their mantra a shot on some t-shirts and what do you know the people loved them.

HEATING UP

We started the brand the same way we ski — with enthusiasm, not perfection. The first drops were rough: crummy designs, hats that barely fit, shirts that shrunk faster than the snowpack in May. But people still wanted them — not because they were flawless, but because they got it.

We came out with our first real designs "The Thrill of a Lifetime", a vintage style shirt inspired by our love of the 90s. It sold out quickly and we began to tailor the garments towards the style and fit we loved. We got a tiny dim-lit office room and started to work on some real collections with talented artists.

SOMETHING'S HAPPENING!

As things progressed, we realized we couldn’t do it alone. Enter Ike Anderson — our #1 fan turned first employee. Ike brought the same energy that started it all: a love for skiing, a knack for chaos, and the ability to make anything feel like après. Then came Nolan Telford — aka 303jeanski — an up-and-coming content killer whose viral posts took the Skiing Is Easy spirit to the world. His edits captured the energy we’d been chasing since day one: fast skiing, louder laughs, and a reminder that snow days are still the best days. Before long, Nolan was traveling the world with pro skiers, spreading the brand (and the chaos) one reel at a time.

And that brings us to Season III. Our story feels like it's still just beginning, but with powder in the forecast and a team built on an attitude of "If they can do it, why can't we?" Anything is possible. We'll see you out there.
